WARRIORS TO TRAVEL TO SOUTH WEST QLD IN SEPTEMBER
The Wooroolin Warriors end of season cricket tour to Thallon, Dirranbandi and St George, which was scheduled for April this year, has been rescheduled as a pre-season trip to these areas of South West Queensland.
Now in its second year, the tour will include a game of cricket in Dirranbandi on Saturday September 19, as well as overnight stays in Thallon and St George, with the club set to hand over a donation of $1000 (one thousand dollars) to the St George and District Drought Appeal on the Saturday night in St George.
The club would like to thank Ken Mills Mahindra, ATC Engineers and Project Managers, The Little Butcher, and The Uniform Zone. They have enabled players to have travel shirts, caps and promotional items to give to the Dirranbandi team and other locals following the completion of the game.
Provided health and travel restrictions do not return, the club is certainly looking forward to getting out to this region again in September this year.
