Don't miss this opportunity to hear what these guys have to say and pick their brains - See attached flyer for details. About the Expert Presenters: * Vickie Mayne is a 'Climate Mate' as part of the Northern Australia Climate Program. Climate Mates are individuals selected for their knowledge of the industry with the aim to improve the use of weather and climate forecasts by liaising with local producers, testing new products and gathering feedback from producers and industry to help inform further research and development. * Roger Sneath is an expert in beef production systems, livestock (mainly beef) nutrition and livestock economics. * Paul Webb is a Principal Project Officer with SQ Landscapes who has a wealth of technical knowledge about landscape processes, water resources, climate and sustainability * Darren Marshall is the General Manager of Commercial Programs with SQLandscapes. Darren's recent work in feral pig control includes GPS collaring pigs to track their movements over time revealing they don't travel far for food and water which is surprising to most. Darren's study began in Moree and Glen Innes in New South Wales and Miles and the Arcadia Valley in Queensland two years ago and is now leading a science-backed community pig control program. We are very lucky to have nailed Darren down to talk about the feral pig control work he has been involved with.
